Europe trip - paris 2017

Hello everyone. Today I want to share with you my Europe trip adventure. so in may I wrote a post called summer travelling. in this post I explained how we came up with this trip, and where we were going to go in Europe. if you haven't seen it you should go read it. this series of posts will be based on the big things we saw, and less of the whole day by day. if that makes sense. These will be split into parts. he first part is Paris, second Kampan, and Amsterdam.
 The first stop was Paris.

These are a few pictures of our apartment. this apartment was on a private street. we needed to open a gate with a code to get on our street. our apartment was on the fifth floor, I think. there were a lot of stairs, there was an elevator, but it could only hold or three people. we all walked up with our suitcases. this was a little difficult, because my suitcase was heavy and my knees were starting to hurt. I finally made it to the apartment put my stuff down, and took a look of the place. after that I hit the couch and had a nap.  

 I didn't mind so much walking down the stairs, rather than going up, especially after a long day of walking. I preferred taking the elevator up. on the last day I did not want to go another round of going on those stairs with my suitcase. what we did was I went in the elevator with some of the suitcases. it was squishy, but it worked. 

 The first thing we went to go see was the Eiffel tower.

                     

Our apartment was semi close to the Eiffel tower, so we walked there. walking there took awhile, but it was nice when we got there. Paris is really busy, there are people everywhere. I took some pictures of the tower. I tried my best to get some nice pictures. All my pictures include lots of people, there are were people everywhere. I sat on the grass with my family after. I watched other people take photos in front of it. we sat on the grass for awhile. we didn't spend a whole lot of time at the tower, but unless you want to climb the Eiffel tower.

The next place we went to was the Louvre.

The louvre, if you don't know is a famous museum. The most famous painting that I know is The Mona Lisa. The room where the Mona Lisa was in was crazy. you had to fight your way to get a picture, there was so many people there it was impossible to get  nice picture.
We spent a lot of time in the louvre, and we had lunch in the cafe. we made our way back through the museum to go out.
 The next place that we went to was Claude Monet's house.

   

Claude Monet is a very famous painter. he does a lot impression paintings of his garden, and water lilies. first we walked through his garden. this garden is beautiful, I have never seen a garden this beautiful. After we walked through the gardens, we went into the house. his house was colourful and   filled with paintings.                                                                                                                                  

 The last two things we did in Paris was go to the Notre Dame cathedral and shopping.

My sisters friend had been to Paris and told my sister about some spots we should visit. on of the places was a bakery were macrons were invented. we went into Laurdee, and I bought some macrons.

The flavours of macrons were coffee, Raspberry, Caramel, Mint, Chocolate, and Lavender. I really liked these except I wasn't a fan of the lavender one. I like the smell of lavender so I thought I might like the taste, but I didn't like it.

Blogmas 2017 day 24 & 25 Last day of Blogmas - Christmas Eve & Christnas day

Hello, and welcome back.
Christmas Eve was on a Sunday this year, so that meant we had regular church in the morning and then the Christmas service in the evening. In the service in the morning, the Sunday school classes did a Christmas play. there was also lots of Christmas song.  After church was over we went out to Stella's to eat lunch. I had a candy cane mocha, and a sandwich with the house salad. it was good, but there was so much food I couldn't finish it all. I took it home. when I got home I went to watch Disney A Christmas carol. I finished watching A Christmas carol. and it was time to go back to church. In the evening it was mainly singing. We has a young adult choir, and then the congregation would sing some songs.
 We went to our friends house after to eat some good food, and play games. First we ate food and talked, then we played games. we played Jungle speed, Pictionary telephone, and mad gab. We played games for awhile. by the time we finished games, it was late so we went home. when I got home I went straight to bed.

December 25th 2017
Its Christmas day!! woo-hoo
Merry Christmas!
This morning I woe up early because I wasn't feeling that good. I thought maybe I was really hungry, so I went downstairs to get a snack. I don't think that was the case, but I don't know what was going on. I waited for the others to get up. Everyone was up and we started opening presents, first it was presents for me and my sisters from my parents. I went first. I started opening it and then my mom took a closer look at the box, and realised that wasn't my gift. it was my dads, she then went to go get mine. my sisters opened there's, and then we gave our parents there gifts to open. we opened our stockings after, and then one more gift each. After we had brunch. it is tradition that we always have eggs Benedict and hash browns on Christmas. Breakfast was finished so I went upstairs to take a bath. I took a pretty long bath, so y the time I got out everyone was getting ready for supper. I felt a little bad that I wasn't helping, but on the other hand I wasn't feeling great, and I feel like I needed that bath to make me feel better.
 While we were waiting for the food I watched t.v and had a little nap. soon supper was ready. we had mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, and chicken, and brownie for dessert. we played settlers after lunch, and I won the game for once!! that Is so exciting for me because I have never won settlers, and I am not usually good at games. we cleaned up settlers and then I went to bed.

Blogmas 2017 Day 14-23 - I failed! sorry

Hello, welcome back.
so I have a confession to make, I have been forgetting to do blogmas. I have been running a couple options through my head. I could have ended off at day 13, completely skip over a number of days with no explanation, or give you an explanation post.
 In the time that I have missed there have been a few things happening. This past Friday the kids had there Christmas party, so we had Santa come visit the Daycare and all the kids got books and a candy cane.  When we have parties the kids are each suppose to bring in something, so we had a lot of food for lunch. Another thing that happened was we finally decorated our tree.

 

A couple other things that have happened were, I finished Christmas shopping and wrapped all my presents. I also decorated all the left over gingerbread I had, with my sisters help.
  That's pretty much all that happened between my last blog and now. I am sorry that I forgot and skipped a couple days. I will be back for new years eve and maybe even Christmas. This makes me feel so annoyed that I forgot to write! anyways I hope you have enjoyed blogmas so far.
