Blogmas Day 23 - Last minute shopping

welcome to Blogmas day 23!
Only 1 more day until Christmas! its Christmas Eve-eve. Tomorrow is Christmas eve!
Today me and my mom did a little last minute Christmas shopping.
we didn't want to go until I made a plan of where I wanted to go and what I wanted to buy. I did not have a clue on what to buy. I just had a few presents to buy. we went to St. vital mall to go to chapters. I bought my gift and then we left the mall, we slowly made our way to superstore to pick up a few groceries. Superstore was really busy.
 we usually have eggs Benedicta for brunch, and then later in the day we usually have a family gathering to go to. this year we don't, so we decided last minute that we would make roast chicken, stuffing and potatoes for supper. We were finally done at superstore, but we needed to go to Sobeys after because they didn't have any butter or parsley. After we finished that we headed home.
when we got home we unloaded the groceries, and supper was ready. we had pizza. while we ate we watched Disney's a Christmas carol. I have been waiting to watch this movie all year!
 I went upstairs to wrap some my presents and write. I went to bed after that.

 So tomorrow is Christmas eve, I will probably be getting home late which means that tomorrows post will likely go up on Christmas. if that's ok with you.
I have had so much fun writing Blogmas, and I am sad that Blogmas is ending.

Blogmas Day 22 - Shopping & and more cookie baking

Welcome,
Only 2 more days until Christmas! how exciting is that?
Good Morning.
today I went with my sister to the dentist and to go shopping. Today we bought a present for my mom, and I bought a present for my secret Santa. after we were done shopping, and at the dentist we went to the bank and coffee culture to get hot chocolate and a cookie. I got home and went to put the stuff in my room, and wrapped my secret Santa present. I was finished just in time for supper. After supper I finished baking the pfeffernusse with my dad, we finally finished baking them. We now have so many cookies, its kind of insane! after the cookies were done I went to go watch A Christmas story. then after I went up to my room to write. Then I went to bed.

Blogmas Day 21 - Baking my pfeffernusse cookies & christmas excitment

Welcome,
Only 3 more days until Christmas! I can't believe Christmas is this Sunday. December feels like its flying by so fast.
Today me and my dad went to Steinbach to go grocery shopping and a few things.
Today was sort of a boring day.  After we got home we brought in the groceries, and I unloaded the dishwasher while he unloaded the groceries. I was done and then I went my room to read.
After a wile supper was ready, so I went downstairs. I made some hot chocolate and watched The beginning of Arthur Christmas. I baked the pfeffernusse cookies after. They turned out really good and I couldn't stop eating them. there was so much dough, and it took so long so I didn't make all the cookies. Tomorrow I will have to finish them. I washed a few dishes and then went to bed.

Blogmas Day 20 - Pfeffernusse cookies

Hello,
only 4 more days until Christmas!
Today I woke up and had some breakfast. After I sat on the couch on my phone, and deciding if I should make cookies or not. I decided to make cookies. I was going to make peppermint cookies but we didn't have any sour cream, so I made pfeffernusse (Peppernut) cookies. When I looked it up online the translation was Gingerbread biscuit. I made the dough but I didn't put them in the oven because I had to chill them, so I decided to bake them tomorrow. I finished making the dough, and then I had some left overs for a late lunch. I went to go watch some TV after I had lunch. My mom came home, and made supper. After I ate supper I left to go to my physio appointment.
During my physio appointment my parents went to do some Christmas shopping, by the time I was done my dad was still at the mall. me and my mom did some shopping while my dad finished up. I bought one Christmas present!  When I got home I had some fudge. and finished the end of a movie. I am not sure what it was but my sister was watching it. After that I went to bed to write.  After I was done I went to bed.

Blogmas Day 19 - Lazy day

Hello,
5 more days until Christmas!
I am getting excited for Christmas. Mostly for the eggs Benedict breakfast that we have every Christmas morning. I also love the feeling of waking up and knowing its Christmas morning. I feel like a kid.
This morning I woke up late.
By the time I got up it was 12:00 so I had some lunch.  I didn't really do a lot today. I did a lot of baking last week, plus I didn't know what to do today. I don't have a lot to say because I did next to nothing.
Christmas is coming up soon. and I haven't done Christmas shopping or Christmas baking for me and my family.
 Christmas can be a stressful time for some people. going to think of what to get for people or who to buy for. The thought of going shopping or going to stores, or to malls can be scary, or it can be something that your not looking forward to. This should be a fun thing to do, for some people it is something that they want to do and get over with. For some people it can be just the stress of Christmas, but for some people it can bring them anxiety of being in crowded shops or malls.
 Anyways its getting late so I should end this and then go to bed.

Blogmas Day 18 - Christmas pageant

Hello,
Good Morning,
6 days until Christmas!
This morning I woke up early to put the boxes of treats together before church.
 Today at church was the Sunday school Christmas pageant. my class were the angels singing Gloria.  After church we went to Tim Horton's for lunch. we did some quick grocery shopping and then went home. I had a nap on the way home. When we got home I chilled in my room.
After a while I went to go watch some TV. for supper my dad made honey mustard wings, with cheese , pickles and crackers.  We all watched a Christmas movie. When the movie was over I went to bed to write.
 its getting so close to Christmas. one week away, and I haven't' done any Christmas shopping, or Christmas baking for us. 
Its getting late so I am going to go to bed.

Blogmas Day 16 & 17 - Fancy Christmas party & Baking

Hello,
Friday December 16th
Only 8 days until Christmas!
Good Morning,
Today I woke up and made Christmas pretzel hugs. This time instead of doing just chocolate kisses, I did half chocolate and half candy cane hugs. These took me a little while, but I finally finished. After I was done I went upstairs to get ready, and finish tidying up my room a bit more.
My friends and I were having a Christmas party at my friend Amanda's house. I was going early because she asked me to help her prepare the dinner. of course we had to go all out with this dinner. that meant turkey, stuffing, mash potatoes, gravy and salad.
Preparing the turkey was a bit of a adventure, but it was a success!
At the party we had supper, which was good. then we did our gift exchange, and we played cheat, or Bull shark as we called it. and monopoly. Of course this game took a few hours. I was the first one out. We finally finished monopoly, and it was late so my friends left. I stayed for night.

Saturday December 17th
7 Days until Christmas!
Hello,
This morning I woke up and had cheerios for breakfast. we finished breakfast, and then we sat on the couch and chatted until my mom came. My mom came and then I went home. I got home, and I was going to start making my cupcakes right away, but I didn't have unsalted butter. instead of making the cupcakes I put the pretzel hugs into bags.. This afternoon we were taking a picture to give to my grandma of all the grand kids for Christmas. I needed to get ready to go take the picture. This was quick. we got there, waited for the cousins to show up, took the picture, and then left. We needed to go do some things after the picture. we made our stops and then went home.  When we got home I made the cupcakes. After the cupcakes came out of the oven I put them on racks to cool.
I put cupcake boxes, and cookie boxes together while I watched Arthur Christmas, and Love Actually waiting for the cupcakes cooled off.
 I made the icing and piped it on the cupcakes. I decorated the cupcakes with gold and silvery white sprinkles. I finally finished all my baking! now it was time for more packaging. I put the cookies in bags, and when my mom got home she helped me by cutting the fudge, and putting it into bags.
 when I was all done, I cleaned up a bit and then went to my room and wrote.
by now when I am finishing this it is 1:20. it is technically the next day, but I wanted to get this up, because I didn't want to leave it to be three days in one.
its very late, so I am going to go to bed.

Blogmas Day 15 - Cookies and fudge making

Hello,
Welcome to day 15!
9 days until Christmas!
This morning I got up and had some breakfast. and then I made Peanut butter Blossoms for the second time. After I was done making the cookie dough I had lunch, and got ready to go. My mom, dad and I went to Winnipeg to get a few groceries. This took a while from going to man places. By the time we got home it was late, and I needed to get ready and leave for dance. Before I left I made myself some supper to take. At Costco we had bought a ready made penne Alfredo with chicken, so I put it in the microwave, and then I went to dance. The first class that I had. the creative class that I help out with, no one showed up. the second class there was some of the class there but not all. for that class we danced around with ribbons. In my class we figured out the part in Hallelujah that we had a hard time with, which makes me happy. When I came home from dance my mom and I baked the peanut butter cookies. We also made chocolate fudge after the cookies.
I was done with the fudge and the cookies so I went upstairs to write. I finished writing and went back downstairs to put the cookies away. I went to bed after that.

Blogmas Day 14 - Triple chocolate cookies

Hello,
10 days until Christmas!! who is excited for Christmas? I know I am.
This morning I slept in a bit. Today my task was to make Triple chocolate cookies and fudge if I had time, or if I felt like it.
I didn't start baking cookies until about 2:00. the cookies didn't turn out exactly as I hoped, but they will do. They turned out a littler darker and  cruncher than I wanted, but they still taste good. By the time I was done making the cookies, my family came home, then my dad started making supper and my sisters and I cleaned up the kitchen a bit. We were making supper for my moms birthday. I didn't get to making the fudge. For supper My dad made honey mustard chicken with roast potatoes and cooked carrots. during supper we had talked about watching a movie after.
We looked on Netflix for a movie. we found a movie called Florence Foster Jenkins. rather than waiting for it to load, we went to Anola to rent it. When we went to go to watch the movie, my mom noticed her second present. 
 We have been talking about having an entertainment unit in our basement. My dad has been working on an entertainment unit to surprise my mom on her birthday.
After the movie was over I went and put my cookies away, and went upstairs to write.
I finished and then I went to bed.

Blogmas Day 13 - christmas concert & making soup

Hello,
good morning.
11 days until Christmas!
This morning I woke up and stayed in bed for a while because it was so comfortable. When I finally did get out of bed, I got dressed and went downstairs and made some lunch. for lunch I made a pita pizza, after I was done my lunch me and my sister left to go to my moms Christmas concert.
 Usually we all go to the concert in the evening, but this year my sister and I went in the afternoon, and my dad and my other sister went in the evening. When we got back from the concert I made supper. For supper I made lasagna soup. it was really good, and easy to make too. I finished my soup and then I went to go watch Brooklyn Nine-nine and new girl. After my shows I went to my room to write.
  If I was on track with my baking, I was meant to make chocolate fudge today. someone from my church asked me to make her some treats to give as Christmas gifts to people. she had asked for 6 boxes by Sunday of two kinds of cookies. half a dozen of each, two cupcakes, a bag of pretzel hugs, and something else. I chose that extra thing to be fudge.  I made myself a schedule to bake one thing everyday. as I said yesterday my peanut butter cookies didn't turn out, so I am going to have to make another batch of those, and I didn't make the fudge.  I am going to have to make two things tomorrow and Thursday.
Anyways its getting late so I am going to go to sleep.

Blogmas Day 12 - Peanut butter cookies & filming my first youtube video

Hello,
12 days until Christmas!
This morning I woke up at 8:30 to have breakfast and also watch Mickeys Christmas and Beauty and the beast Christmas. Today I was going to start baking.
 I am baking a bunch of things for someone at my church, to give as Christmas presents.
Today I started off by making Peanut butter blossom cookies. This is also The day that I filmed my first video. this video was making the Peanut butter blossoms. I haven't uploaded it to YouTube yet because I need to edit it, and I need to work out how to edit. My cookies turned out pretty well, until they came out of the oven. I have never made them before so I didn't know if they would spread, or how much they would spread out. The first pan came out, and it kind of looked like a settlers board. they were all touching one another, and some of the looked a little like a hexagon shape. the next pan I put in the oven had less cookies on it, because I didn't want this to happen again. The second batch came out a lot nicer, but they were stuck to the pan and coming out in pieces. the cookies didn't survive so I am going to have to make another batch tomorrow. the recipe said an ungreased pan. usually when a recipe says ungreased it means that these cookies should stick to the pan. I should have just greased the pan anyways.
 When the cookies where done I went to have some lunch. After lunch I tried to figure out how to edit my video, I didn't get very far with this. I wanted to find a way to edit on my PC laptop. that didn't work out so I decided I would email the videos to myself and edit it on the mac computer, because I am more familiar with iMovie. I thought it would be easier to do it on my laptop, that's why I didn't start with going to the mac computer. I will edit it another day.
 After this I just chilled watching some Mary Poppins and Winnie the pooh Christmas.
  My dad came home and made spaghetti with tomato sauce and corn. I helped clean up supper after, and made myself some earl grey tea. while I had my tea, I was trying to get the cookies off the pan. I got the cookies all cleaned up and finished my tea, and then I went to bed.

Blogmas Day 11 - Church, Chapters, Netflix, and starbucks.

Hello,
13 days until Christmas!
This morning I didn't hear my alarm, so I got up a little late.
Today I went to church. Today is the 3rd Advent.
 After church we had stuff that we had to do. It is very rare that we can just go home after church on a Sunday. Me and My sister went to chapters, and sat in Starbucks and watched Netflix while my dad did some stuff, and grocery shopping. Finally we got home. by the time we got home it was about 5:00. My mom made meat pinwheels with cheese sauce for supper. While we ate supper we watched this Christmas movie called Christmas Land. For dessert I had left over cake, and we started to watch the LEGO movie. after I went to my room to write. while I am writing I can hear my Let it go, and I think my families watching frozen, so I am going to go downstairs and watch. after that I will probably go to bed.

Blogmas Day 10 - cutting down & Decorating our christmas tree

Hello,
Good morning.
14 days until Christmas!
Today is the day we are going to cut down our tree.
This morning I started my day with some vlogmas in bed. When I finally got out of bed, I got dressed. in case you were wondering. I wore two pairs of leggings, sweats, and three sweaters, and two pairs of socks. I was prepared for the weather.
 We packed some hot chocolate, coffee and stuff to make hot dogs. We got all our snow stuff together and then we left. When we got to where we need to be we started looking, We found one that we liked sort of towards when we just started, so we decided to keep looking. Eventually we went with the first one that we liked. cutting down the tree didn't take to long. My dad found a good spot to make a fire and roast our wieners on. The fire took a little while to get started, but eventually we got it and we could warm up a bit. After we were done eating and drinking our hot chocolate, we went back to the car to put the tree on. I wasn't much help for this part so I went into the van and took of my boots, because my feet were frozen! We got home and then set up the tree and put some lights on. After that I just chilled out and was on my phone.
 It was getting really late and close to supper time. Me and my dad were trying to come up with something for supper. he suggested hot roast beef sandwiches. we had this and also we made some fries. We decorated the tree after supper. the tree looks really pretty! We finished decorating the tree, and then I went to go have a shower, watch some vlogmas, write and then I went to bed.

Blogmas Day 9 - cleaning & dance chats

hello,
15 days until Christmas!
Today I was going to go volunteer at the thrift store again, but it didn't work out today so I didn't today. Instead I dusted off my shelf and re-arranged some things in my room. while I was taking everything off my shelf I watched some vlogmas. today was a pretty exciting vlog, because one of my favourite youtubers Zoella ( Zoe Sugg) and Thatcherjoe (Joe Sugg) were announcing there merchandise that they have been working on. When I saw what they came out with, I put some off the things on my Christmas list hoping that maybe I would be able to get it.
 I cleaned off my shells, then I decided for a while were I would put everything, and what shelf to put it in. also I got these fairy light, but I don't know where to put them in my room. I have tried different spots, but I just don't know if I like where I have been putting it. After doing this for a while I went downstairs to have some supper. My parents were out for supper, and my sister was at the Half Moon Run concert, so it was just me and my other sister for supper. we had our own things for supper. It took me a while to come up with something to have for supper, because I didn't know what to have. finally I made some cheese toast and iced tea. While I had supper I watched Elf and how the Grinch stole Christmas. While I was watching it I realized that I have never seen the full movie before, I have just seen bits and pieces.
  Tomorrow we are going to cut down our Christmas tree. There is a lot of snow, and its suppose to be really cold tomorrow and I don't really want to be in the cold for a long time, but I am excited to decorate the tree!
       For dance I am dancing to Hallelujah by the Pentatonix. I have gotten pretty far, I have gotten to "She tied you to the kitchen chair, she broke your thrown and cut your hair." this is the part we got stuck on. I see it as my hands are tied in some way that you can see, and a neck roll. next fall to my knees or get to the ground in some way, and something with my hair. these are just my thoughts that I have. whether it actually would look good is a different story. I have been playing the music over and trying different things. we will eventually figure something out.
 Its getting late so I should probably end this and go to bed, or at least go to my room, because there are some things I need to sort out and put back on my shelves.

Blogmas Day 7&8 - Youth christmas party and Lots of pizza.

Hello,
Today again will be combined with yesterday. not because I forgot but because our Wi-Fi wasn't working and the page wouldn't load.

 Wednesday December 7th
17 days until Christmas!
Good morning, today I woke up and got out of bed to have breakfast. it was another snow day, so that meant my mom was home.  After lunch me and my mom went to Steinbach to do a few things. The first thing we did in Steinbach was go to Walmart, at Walmart I bought some baby clothes to donate to Anna's House. the Steinbach Family Resource centre.  Mothers can get there babies clothes. I'm not to sure how this works.
 We were challenged by our youth leader to go out and do a random act of kindness. she gave us $10 to do whatever we wanted, and just in case we couldn't think of anything, she gave us a website where we could find some ideas. www.randomactofkindess.org I believe it was.
I decided to double it and make it $20 so I could do more. at Walmart I bought baby hats and mitten, and my mom bought a snow suit to add to it.
 After Anna's house we went to the thrift store to drop some things off, and get our permit to chop down our Christmas tree. after we went home.  I got home and I had enough time to get ready and eat supper. because tonight I was going to our youth Christmas party. At our Christmas party we played the gift game.  in past years we brought a re-used gift. I had got a mini Foosball set for a gift, I  thought that would be a perfect gift to bring to the party. usually I bring kind of lame gifts, but this one, I thought was a good gift.  When I took my first gift it was Reese's peanut butter cup, and rosebud chocolates. it was perfect because I could also use them for baking cookies, but sadly they got stolen. I got mini canvases on easels. I don't really paint but I could use them for something.  We played another game after the gift. I cant remember what it was called, but it was like apples to apples, but you made up the questions, and wrote down your own answers. I only got through one round and then my dad came to pick me up, we got home and then I went to bed.

 Thursday December 8th
Good morning,
16 days until Christmas!
this morning I didn't want to get out of my bed. it was so cozy!
By the time I got out of bed it was almost lunch time, so I had lunch.  After lunch I got dressed and helped tidy up the kitchen. Me and my sister made a cake after cleaning. we made a cake for my other sisters birthday. it was a so easy chocolate cake, with chocolate buttercream.
 We were going out for supper for her birthday. we went to a place called harvest moon café. it was gourmet pizza night, what that meant was they had a few different kinds of pizza, and they brought them out to you one by one as a sample, and then at the end if you were still hungry you could order a piece of your favourite. there was about five different kinds of pizza you could try, and I only ate two full pieces, and had two bites of the other pizzas. most of my family didn't finish all the pieces so we got it wrapped up. we went home after supper. When we got home we ate cake. That brings us to the current moment. the plan is to watch a movie, but we can decided on anything. I don't know what we are going to watch, or if we are going to watch anything. After that I will go to bed because its probably going to be really late.

Blogmas Day 6 - Didn't know what to do with my day.

Hello,
18 days until Christmas!
Last night I set my alarm to go off at about 6:45, because my sister want me to come to Steinbach with her. I set my alarm, but I didn't actually hear it in the morning.  There was some what of a snow storm last night so It was a pretty good chance that her appointment would get cancelled. it did so I woke up a little later.  it was a snow day so my mom was home, my dad started to go to work but came back, and my other sister didn't go to school until later in the day.  a lot of the day was mostly lazing around actually. I think I might have turned into a lazy bum!
  In the evening me and my sister watched Brooklyn nine-nine, New girl, and This is us. after that I went to my room to write, watch some vlogmas and then go to bed.

Blgmas Day 4&5 - Sunday&Monday

Hello,
Some of you might have realised that I did not post anything yesterday. the reason for that is because I simply forgot to, and by the time I remembered I was already in bed almost asleep. today I am combining yesterday with today.

 Sunday December 4th
20 days until Christmas.
Today we went to church. After church I thought we just had to do some grocery shopping, turns out that they did that when me and my sister were in Sunday school.  After the service was over I thought since the grocery shopping was done, we wold go home. Nope, we had to go to Canadian tire, dollarama, and Costco to get tires. first before doing this we went to go get some lunch.
 At Costco we were getting tires put on the car, so when we were waiting for the appointment we went to Starbucks, I got a Gingerbread latte. it was really good, if your looking for a new holiday drink, I recommend this one if you like more spicier drinks. while my dad was at Costco, my sister, my mom and I stayed at Starbucks, and I watched Netflix.
  When I got home I helped unload  groceries and put them away. after that was done I went to go relax in front of the TV. Supper was ready shortly after, for supper we had store bought chow main from Costco, I was done supper and I went to go watch some more TV. while I was watching TV I matched some socks and folded some laundry. the laundry was all folded, all though I didn't find matches for all the sock, I went to bed.

 Monday December 5th
19 days until Christmas.
This morning I woke up to the phone ringing, I was half asleep and didn't feel like running downstairs and answering it, plus I guessed that it was the dentist confirming an appointment, and I was right. After I went downstairs to have some breakfast. I had a bowl of honey nut cheerios, and watched some vlogmas after I was done eating. I watched a couple until lunch time.
I did not do much after lunch.
  At about 5:00 I turned the TV back on to watch Ellen. I love watching Ellen.  Tonight I went to Zumba, there was not a lot of people at Zumba, and it felt like the class went by quickly. When I got home I had a shower, then had some got chocolate and half a muffin, then went to my bed to write, and then to sleep.

Blogmas Day 3 - Lazy Saturday

Hello, Happy Saturday.
21 days until Christmas!
Today I didn't do very much, so this is going to be kind of short.
I started my morning by watching vlogmas.  I only watched one, because our Wi-Fi is not good. I watched zoella's day 2 of vlogmas. I wish that I could have watch more because our Internet connection is so slow. there's so many vlogmas that I wanted to watch. there is a long list of my favourite youtubers doing vlogmas that I want to watch,
Zoella, Thatcherjoe, Megsays, Tanya burr, and Jackmaynard.
When I got out of bed, it was closer to lunch time, so I had lunch. for lunch I had leftover pizza. After lunch I went to clean my room. this lasted awhile, I just stopped for supper with a few things left. I went downstairs to help my dad with supper. My dad was making burgers for supper, I made a Caesar salad and sautéed mushrooms with balsamic vinegar.
  I had a shower and watched suits while I wrote before bed.

  This post is short, but I thought I would make it a little longer and tell you about somethings that I have coming up. like, going to cut down our Christmas tree, decorating our tree, youth Christmas party,( Even though I technically not in youth any more I still go.) Blogmas Day 2 - Thrift Store Day

Hello, Good morning.
22 days until Christmas!!!!
this morning I had an early start to the day. this morning I got up at 7:00 today to go Volunteer at the thrift store with my youth leader. When we got to the Thrift store she gave me a tour of the upstairs. Then we started working. We tagged and priced clothes, and then put them out in the racks. At first when I started, I had trouble with the tagging gun, and probably wasted a lot of the tag strings. When I started I was very slow, but as I went on I got faster. We did a few hours of this, and then we took our lunch. We ate our lunches. by the time I ate just my sandwich, she had eaten her whole lunch. I am such a slow eater! After we finished our lunch we went back down to continue doing the same thing. After a couple hours we finished for the day, and then we looked around before we left.. I found a Christmas sweater. I have never own a Christmas sweater before.
  When I came home it was supper time, and my mom was making pizza, but I had to wait. Finally the pizza was ready and I ate supper, after I was finished I wanted something for dessert, something chocolaty. I didn't find anything except for hot chocolate. I didn't really want hot chocolate because I have had a lot resonantly, but eventually I caved. Me and my dad played Crib after supper. My dad won.  The game was over and then I went upstairs to watch suits and to write, after I finished writing I watched more suits. After suits I went to bed.

Blogmas Day 1 - The first day!

Hello, Happy first of December.
Its the first day of Blogmas!!!
This morning I woke up at 7:30 to go with my dad to take my cat Juno to the vet. after we got home I tried to finish my post on volunteering at camp this simmer. for some reason it has been taking me along time to finish. I didn't quite finish, I have one more week.  I wrote for a few hours. After that it was about 3:30 and I needed to make supper because I needed to be at dance for 5:30.
I have my dance class at 8:00, but I help my dance teacher with two little kid creative classes.
I didn't have a lot of time to make supper, so I made myself a sandwich and some snacks.
I went to dance class. I came early, and I figured out that you could download shows from Netflix, so I downloaded some suits while I waited. During the creative classes we danced with them with ribbons, after those classes I watch my friends class, and then mine. After dance I went home to make my lunch, (I haven't made my lunch since high school) and made some hot chocolate and popcorn and then went to write Blogmas and watch suits. Then I got my pyjamas on and went to bed.

 This a pretty short post, but some days might be like this where I don't do much, but then there will be some days where I do lots of fun stuff.

Second week volunteering at Camp Moose Lake in the kitchen part two

Hello,
I hope you liked part one of my second week at camp.

 Wednesday August 17th
Morning,
This morning I woke up with a sore throat. The campers weren't back from camp out yet so I was aloud to sleep in a bit.  For breakfast we made bannock for everybody who stayed back, after we finished eating breakfast we got ready for lunch.  For lunch we were having pizza. This week we had Cheese, Ham and Pineapple, Deluxe, Pepperoni, and Veggie. with carrots and celery.  Of course by the end of lunch, pretty much all the pizza had gone. After lunch I cleaned up and then I had a break until about 5:00, because everything for supper was prepped.
 For supper we had rice with meatballs, peas & carrots, and buns and bannock. I like when we had rice and meatballs. After supper was finished we cleaned up, and then I had a break. During my break I went to R.E.C. We played every body's it, and sticks. Snack was after. For snack we had ice cream with chocolate and caramel sauce with water.  I was supervising snack, and the people on snack weren't there yet so I started pouring water into glasses. They had come in to do the snack. I didn't mind pouring the water, but they kick me off helping. the snack got really crazy. After snack was over, I went to the mini lodge to write in my journal up in the loft before I went to bed.

 Thursday August 18th
This morning I woke to my alarm clock, and made it to the kitchen on time. For breakfast we made French toast, bacon with fruit and cereal. Breakfast was finished and cleaned up, then I went to go listen to devotions. Devotions were over, so I went back into the kitchen to start on lunch. Lunch was outside in the picnic shelter so I got the outdoor things together.  For lunch we had Hot dogs and Hamburgers with chips and veggies.  It was a little crazy doing two lines in the picnic shelter, but we did it. after lunch we had a break until 4:45. during my break I relaxed in my room.
  Tonight was theme meal. the theme was Olympics again, but this time it was the Olympics in space
For supper we had chicken fingers and cauldron fries. After we ate supper, we got ready for snack.
For snack we had cauldron donuts!!!! Everyone was excited for donuts. Donuts are really good!
After snack I was so tired, so I went straight to the mini lodge to put the rest of the donuts in the loft.

 Friday August 19th
This morning I woke up before my alarm. Then I went back to bed because I got to sleep in a little later. I got dressed and went to the kitchen. I came in a little late. by the time I got in the kitchen they were already serving breakfast. I made some tea.  I have been having a lot of green tea, because I was sick. earlier in the week I got a cold and was loosing my voice. the head cook gave me the morning off, so I took my tea back to the mini lodge, and read on the balcony.
The campers after breakfast went to pack up there things, had lunch and then went home.
Most of the staff had left, it was me, my sister and two other camp staff.  In the evening we waited for the food truck to come. We weren't really sure when it was coming, because it was suppose to come yesterday, but it didn't. finally the truck came. after it came we went inside to have supper. For supper I had leftover Quesadilla's, meatballs, and peas and carrots. we watched cheaper by the dozen while we ate. for dessert I had hot chocolate and a leftover brownie. after the movie ended I went to bed.

 Saturday August 20th
I slept in this morning a little. for breakfast I had frosted flakes and some tea. When I came into the lodge, I saw that they were watching the 4th Harry Potter. After Harry Potter was finished we watched the parent trap. the other girl that stayed the weekend had never seen the parent trap before, and since I didn't make it through the last time we watched it, I didn't mind watching it again. The whole day was basically full of movies and relaxing. after a well needed day of relaxing I went to bed.
