Beginnings and endings, Wednesday the 20th of May 2015

 Hello friends,
Today was a pretty good day. The day started off good  and ended off good.
This morning I got up a little earlier than I usually do which meant I would have time to take a longer time on things like eating breakfast or brushing my teeth, I didn't feel rished. My sister drove to us to school today. My first class of the day is my choral class. This brightened my day up because my coral geoup and I sing a glee We Are Young medley, which means we can have fun with it and be silly. My good food got kind of killed by math and history! When I got I started to make supper. On Pinterest a while ago I found this recipe for sweet potato quinoa soup, it sounded delicious so I wanted to try it, it was yummy.  After supper I went to youth, it was a girls night at my cousin Rachel's house. I didn't know who would be coming but I knew that my sister wasn't going but that would be ok. When I got there I was the only one. We decided we would make popcorn and watch a movie. The way Rachel made popcorn was so good she put coconut oil,sugar,sea salt and popcorn in the pot and cooked it over the stove. Me and Rachel watched big fish, now I probably know what your thinking, what is big fish? Well I'm not good at explaining things so your just going to have to look it up. As always I love coming home know that I don't have to anything else (except for make my lunch) and then I get to go to bed!

career symposium and youth group fun

Hi friends,
Today I went to the career symposium, it got me thinking what I want to do after high school. I have already been thinking about what I want to do after high school, because when some people ask my sister what she wants to do they usually ask me to.
I have always liked baking, so I thought maybe I would continue this. At the career symposium there was a lot of culinary arts booths. One one of the booths you could try out piping tips, I just wanted to spend the whole day there. I find baking fun, I like to bake cupcakes cookies cakes and buns.
I find piping icing sort of relaxing. I think I will make some cupcakes and decorate them this week.
The whole day I was feeling a little anxious because there was so many people there and it was so over whelming! The good thing was we had youth tonight. I really need that today, at youth we had a progressive snack. It was fun we talk and laughed and had a good time. And it was fun! It's probably the first time in youth were I laughed so much and had fun with my youth group, if that makes sense.
Anyways my day was interesting and fun.

Spring break

Hi friends,

Spring break is a great time. Full of doing nothing, no homework Easter, and Easter gatherings.

Spring break is fun but if you have nothing to do much to do it get a little boring. I haven't really been doing much this spring break. at first it was great, It got very boring. This spring break I helped painted benches at the barn, to be more specific I helped varnish the benches with my mom, sister and cousin, and my aunt was there to.

I love Easter gatherings, especially the paska. I also love the Easter breakfast we have at church. (Not the getting up early part), but that we just eat paska for breakfast, and it just nice to listen to the conversations and join in on some of them sort of,

This spring break ended off with Easter. When we got home from church, in the evening me and my sisters when in an Easter basket hunt. Yes we still do that. We're not to old! I like the chocolate but I just find the looking hard. I feel a little dumb when I can't find my basket and its been a while, but how does it make it easier when your hint is get creative, and giving me information I already new like its on the main floor. If your wondering where it was it was hanging underneath the dining room table. After that me and my dad went for a walk. It was cold but on the way out the sun was setting so that was cool. Anyways I would love to hear how your spring break/Easter was!

Grade wars

Hi friends,
 it is almost spring break! You know what that means, it's grade wars time.  Grade wars is the last week before spring break. During the week we have certain events and compete against other grades. Some activities that we do are sir band, settlers of catan at lunch, chess during lunch, architecture building at lunch, minute to win it challenge, duck tape fashion show, Mario cart, and cheer. Some of the really big competitions between the grades are iPod challenge and dance off. The dance off is the biggest one off them all. 

We also have dress up days to go along with grade wars.

Today (Monday) was formal day, but there was no activities today. Tuesday us jersey day, Wednesday is retro day, Thursday is school colour day, and Friday is grade colour day. Grade 9s are red, grade 10s are yellow grade 11s are blue, and grade 12s are green.

My grade, grade 11 is not the best grade In the school. Half of our grade doesn't even show up for grade wars

   At the beginning of the year we had like a mini grade wars, and half of out grade was missing. I think that payed off for us because there was no one to be disruptive to rude. We won the mini grade wars so we actually think we have a chance at winning.   I think that this competition is more between the grade 12's and grade 11's, especially with the dance off.

The grade 12's obviously want to win. I think if they grade 11's win grade wars they would be so mad! 

I am so exited I can't wait for grade wars to start, but unfortunately I will be missing one afternoon of grade wars. I am so pumped for grade wars.

Spring Time

Hi friends,
Today went I was walking outside I looked around at the grass and the trees. While I was walking it felt like spring, not the warmest day but spring. As from march 20th I think it is spring. I really like spring because the trees are so beautiful, the weathers not to hot but usually not to cold. spring is such a beautiful season, I can't get over how beautiful spring is. Sometimes I will go on walks and take pictures, and i have a fun time jumping in some of the puddles that are left, and enjoy the spring. 
I enjoy spring a lot!

birthday fun (not my birthday)

Hi friends,

Today me and my family went to our of the blue for my sisters birthday. We sent quite a lot of time in there. I feel like there was way to many people in that store, it was so crowded. It was almost overwhelming how many people were in there.  I love going to out of the blue, everything there is so cute and vintage looking. After we were done shopping we went to dinner at moxie's, we had to finish eating quick because we were going to see insurgent at 7:00. Insurgent was really good, but it's always awkward when the have kissing scenes, or long inappropriate kissing scenes and your parents are sitting in either side of you. Other than that I got really into the movie. A while ago I read the books, I couldn't remember the book that well, but I remembered some important things.

Alleigent was the last book from the series so I was getting confused a bit on if that happened in insurgent or alliegent.  Every time that happened I had to stop and think which book it was from.

I had a really good day going to out of the blue and going to see alliegent.

Wedding showers

Wedding showers are a fun and exciting event. I feel like when there is a wedding shower people tend to make more fancy food like appetizers and a lot of desserts. Allthough a lot of sweets is a good thing, I have been having a lot of sweets lately. I don't really have any self control and I just get sucked in, but you know what I will work it off later. If your like me, shy and kind of awkward then you just sit there, especially if you have no one to talk to. For the first bit of the shower I was just sitting there but then my cousin came so it was less awkward. We talked about spring break and summer break, then it was time to watch the bride to be open her gifts. After that was done we had some DELISIOUS food!! We talked a bit after but not that much. I am not much of a talker, so that's why it kind of feels akeard.

I had some good fun with some good food.
